OKLAHOMA CITY (April 28, 2005) -- Walters Power International has completed the sale of a power station to a New York shopping center, the Oklahoma City company announced Tuesday.
Walters acquired the 13- megawatt station in January for an undisclosed amount from Houston-based Stewart and Stevenson Services Inc. and completed the multi-million dollar resale to San Diego-based DG Energy LLC on April 18.
The station will be used to power the Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Brooklyn.
Former Oklahoma Gov. David Walters is president of Walters Power. The company conducts an international trading business for medium- to large-scale surplus power generation equipment.
